[…] recently did a roundup of 5 female entrepreneurs who inspire me and who also offer online courses and freebies. Do your best to keep your chin up […]

For as I long as I can remember, I’ve been hustling. Being the little entrepreneurs we were, my friend and I collected soda tabs to make bracelets to make money for our 8th grade trip to Washington, D.C. We strung stretchy, colorful string to create this very middle-school jewelry and made around $200.
In 6th grade, I started my own Jonas Brothers fan club, made an email list and created a magazine newsletter. I rewrote news stories, collected trivia and crafted “finish the lyrics” games to send out via email. And when they made their comeback last year, I hosted a reunion party. I served themed snacks and lived my best life at their Happiness Begins tour.
The bottom line is I love creating and innovating, and nothing inspires me more than other women doing the same thing. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite women entrepreneurs who are such big inspirations to me and also have a bunch of courses and free resources.

Helene Sula, Helene in Between
I’ve been following Helene for years. And I was stoked when my pitch to interview her for Southwest Airlines’ in-flight magazine was approved. Helene and her husband moved to Germany for three years to travel Europe and grow her blog. They now live in Dallas, and they continue to blog as a full-time gig. Her sweet spot is Instagram engagement, and she’s made big bucks through her blog and entrepreneur ventures. And she was featured on House Hunters International.

Kate Gremillion, Work Well with Kate
Recently on a road trip, I was poking around on Instagram, and a sponsored post popped up from Kate. I was intrigued, followed the link and signed up for her webinar. I listened to it for the almost the entire remainder of the car ride. When I saw the title was “How to Scale Your Business to Six Figures Without Adding More to Your Plate,” I knew I had to take it. And I cannot tell you how many screenshots I took of her slides filled with helpful advice.
She discusses how to cut back and to work smart, not hard. Kate recommends only checking your email once per week if at all possible and working in batch tasks. This was one of the best webinars I’ve ever attended. Kate inspired me to rethink the way I run my blog.

Jenna Kutcher
A good friend of mine suggested checking out Jenna’s page, and I’m so glad she did. Jenna’s bubbly, genuine personality makes you feel like you’ve known her since high school. I took her free course on Pinterest and have seen great results in the weeks to follow. Her big mantra is serve the majority of the time so that when it’s time to sell, you have that trust with your clientele. She’s also inspired me to grow my email list and do so in an organic way — not a spammy, sneaky one. Jenna is also a great influence when it comes to body positivity. So many wins!

Melyssa Griffin
Another favorite of mine is Melyssa Griffin, whom I found via Pinterest. I’ve been following Melyssa for quite some time and love her positive, encouraging approach to growing your blog and business. She has great practical advice about entrepreneurship and social media and also offers an abundance of free webinars and resources. Scroll through her blog for even five minutes, and you will have practical tools and the inspo to put your brain to work on your business dreams.

Cassie and Shay, The Bucketlist Bombshells
Ever had the dream to work remotely? Cassie and Shay are your go-to gals. I’ve also taken a free webinar of theirs and got some great tips and ideas on how to make money as a remote freelancer. Their tone is very much one of a best gal pal, and whether your business has been only an idea or has been kicking for years, they have the resources for you to become a digital nomad.
